MALAYSIA VERSUS NEW ZEALAND (ROUND TWO)

Some new figures have been released by the International Monetary Fund.
Over the course of one year, Malaysia’s GDP/capita has risen from US$5,000 to US$6,000.
New Zealand’s GDP/capita, meanwhile, has risen from US$25,000 to US$30,000.
Consider this: in 1986, New Zealand was on the brink of collapse, while Malaysia was savouring the big-time.
Today, some may argue, the opposite is true.
This begs the question: what the hell is Malaysia doing?

I dunno where exactly to attribute the cause, anymore. It’s becoming more gray and broad, don’t you think? More gray, but it’s no excuse.

I would say corruption, mismanagement, and wastage.
Think about it.
Malaysia has petroleum, palm oil, timber, rubber, and heavy industries.
It’s a more blessed country than New Zealand, anytime.
