2007 LEGATUM PROSPERITY INDEX

New Zealand has been ranked 1st for Life Satisfaction and 5th for Material Wealth on the 2007 Legatum Prosperity Index.

The index is a comprehensive measure of all the things that make life worthwhile: political and civil liberties, equality of opportunity, freedom of choice, high incomes, good health, good climate, and good community life.

Malaysia, though, is noticeably absent.
